The maid view
A phone-friendly view of a maid's own day: her rooms, one task at a time, with the checklist and minibar recording built in. Maids reach it from the main menu under My tasks. It is the only housekeeping screen a maid sees — the board, the weekly plan and settings all need a supervisor's permissions.
The maid view, task list
Who can access this: Requires the Housekeeping module and the Housekeeping (self) permission — not the Bookings (read) permission the board and room detail need, since this screen is a maid's own device, not a supervisor's.
Note: A maid account only sees anything here once an administrator has linked her user account to her employee record. If it isn't linked, the screen says so plainly ("Not linked to an employee") instead of showing an empty list.
The day list
The hero line totals today's scheduled credits. Step between days with the arrows, or jump back with Today. Each room in the list is a card showing the room name and code, the service plan, its status, today's occupancy, the maid's own credit share, and — where they apply — a Do not disturb or Blocked chip. Tap a card to open it.
A task's detail
Task detail on the maid view
Tapping a room opens its task: the same room header as the supervisor's room detail page, the plan name, status, and credit badge, the checklist, and the minibar (if the property has it switched on).
Warning — entering a Do Not Disturb room is logged, not blocked. If the room is flagged DND, a banner reads "Do not disturb — starting will be logged." Starting anyway succeeds and is recorded against the room's timeline; it will never refuse the action.
The checklist
Tap an item to mark it done or undone. An item marked Photo required or Signature required shows its own icon; finishing the task while a photo-required item has no photo attached is refused, and the app lists exactly which items still need one.
The minibar
Warning — enter what the guest consumed, not what you restocked or what's left. The Par {n} figure shown next to each product is only the restock target for reference — it is never what you type in. What you enter here is billed to the guest.
The products listed come from the room type's minibar template (Settings). If a room shows no minibar at all, its room type has no template yet.
Use the + / − buttons to set each product's consumed quantity, then Save consumption. The button only becomes active once a value has actually changed. Once the consumption has been billed to the guest's folio, the stepper goes read-only and shows a note that it can no longer be edited from here — see A room's detail page for how a supervisor can re-post it if needed.
Finishing, pausing, and resuming
The main action button always matches the task's current step — Start, Resume, Finish, or Inspect. While a task is in progress, a separate Pause button is also offered, with an optional reason field before it confirms.
