The Loyalty club tab
Requires the Loyalty programme module (in the portal's own Settings: Modules) and an active Loyalty Program.
Who uses this: any traveller — no account sign-in is required. A booking-number or e-mail-link session still shows the guest's own loyalty points if they're enrolled; an account simply makes past points and stays easier to find in one place across bookings.
On a booking-number sign-in the tab is more limited: the balance and tier still show, but the Points account lists only entries from this booking, and rewards can't be redeemed (see below). An e-mail-link or account sign-in has no such limits.
Guest portal loyalty club tab
| Section | Shows |
|---|---|
| Your tiers | Every tier with its points-from threshold, and the guest's current tier highlighted. A validity note explains how long earned points stay valid. |
| Points account | A ledger of the last 12 months — date, description, amount, and status (counted, awaiting confirmation, or redeemed). Show all / Show less expands or collapses it. |
| Redeem | Rewards the guest can claim directly against this booking, with points shown per reward. A reward is greyed out as Not enough if the balance doesn't cover it, or Requested if already pending. |
Redeeming a reward
- The guest selects Redeem on a reward they can afford.
- A confirmation shows how many points will be reserved and asks the guest to confirm.
- Once confirmed, the points move to awaiting confirmation and the reward shows Requested — the reception confirms it, usually within a day (see Staff workflows).
Note: A guest signed in with just a booking number still sees the Redeem buttons, but confirming shows "Sign in with the link from your email or with your account to redeem rewards." and no points are reserved. Signing in again with an e-mail link or an account lets them redeem as usual.
A guest who isn't enrolled yet sees a Not a member yet card instead, with an estimate of what this stay would earn as a member, and a prompt to ask reception to join them up.
Tip: If your loyalty settings define per-tier perks text, it appears next to each tier here — write it once in the Loyalty Program settings and it shows automatically.
