Overview & access
Route: /shiftplan
The Shift Plan replaces spreadsheets and paper rotas with a single place to plan, confirm, and report on staff time. Everything lives under one page with four tabs; the tab you land on is remembered in the address bar (for example /shiftplan?tab=team), so you can bookmark or share a direct link to any tab.
The four tabs
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Roster | The weekly and daily schedule — who works which shift, coverage warnings, and confirming the day. See The Roster. |
| Team | Your staff list and each person's profile, month calendar, and worked-hours log. See The Team. |
| Report | Worked hours and (optionally) labour cost per person and department, for a week or a month. See The Report. |
| Settings | Departments, employee types, work locations, shift types, staffing targets, public holidays, and who belongs to which department. See Departments, types & settings. |
The header shows the module name and the active asset you're planning for (the property picked in the top-bar asset switcher). A + Add shift or + Add employee button appears in the header depending on the tab you're on.
What "asset" means here
The roster you see is always for the active asset — the resort, vessel, or dive center currently selected in the top bar. Switching assets in the top bar re-loads the roster, report, and team for that property. Staff can belong to more than one asset; a person appears on an asset's roster when they are assigned to it (or to no asset in particular). See The three asset types for how assets work across Gurita.
How it relates to the old Employees page
Before this module, staff were managed on a standalone Employees page under Master Data. When the Shift Plan module is active, that page is hidden and the Team tab becomes the place to add, edit, and remove staff. The records are the same people used everywhere else in Gurita — nothing is duplicated — so a dive guide you edit here is the same guide the Dive module schedules.
Note: The separate Work Log page (historical worked-hours records) stays where it is; the Shift Plan reads and updates those same work logs when you confirm a day (see The Roster).
Who can access this
Requires the Shift permission (view the Roster, Team, and Report). The Settings tab additionally requires the Shift configuration permission. The labour-cost figures in the Report are shown only to users with an Administrator or Accountant role. Visible when the Shift Plan module is active — an administrator turns it on under Settings → Active Modules (see Settings & Administration).
