Generating and printing lists
List templates are filled from the operational screens, not from the template pages — always for something concrete: a boat list for one departure, a resort list for one date. Only lists whose status is Active (and that have at least one column) are offered.
Boat lists: print from the departure
Who can access this: Requires the Vessels permission and the Liveaboard module.
Open a departure's trip page — its Lists tab shows every active boat list that applies to the vessel. Each list offers three actions:
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Preview (list icon) | Shows the columns and rows as a table right on the page — a quick sanity check without downloading anything. |
| View (eye icon) | Opens the filled list as a web page in a new browser tab. |
| Print (printer button) | Generates and downloads the document itself (Excel, Word, text, or PDF, depending on the template). |

The list covers everyone on that departure whose booking matches the list's State setting (by default: confirmed bookings only). Guests are ordered by the list's Sort by field.
You can also print a boat list for a single booking: on a vessel booking's detail page, the action menu has a Boat Lists entry listing the active templates — pick one and the document covers just that reservation's guests (useful for a per-booking check-in sheet).
Resort lists: print for a date
Who can access this: Requires the Resorts permission and the Resort module.
Resort lists are generated from a small printer card that appears in several places: the Dashboard (in place of the Confirmed stat card, when enabled), a resort booking's action menu, the arrival/departure view, the in-house guests card, and the Occupancy planner.

Pick the list, pick the date, and choose who it covers:
| Switches | The list covers |
|---|---|
| Neither | Guests in house on that date. |
| Arrivals | Guests arriving on that date. |
| Departure | Guests departing on that date. |
Click Print and the document opens in a new tab. From a booking's action menu the list is scoped to that booking; from the Occupancy planner it can cover the upcoming date range instead of a single day.
Tip: The same template works in every context — one "guest names + room + dietary" list serves as today's kitchen sheet from the Dashboard and as an arrival list from the arrival/departure view.
Note: If a list is missing from a print menu, check three things on its template: the Status is Active, the Asset field includes (or doesn't exclude) this vessel/resort, and it has at least one column.
