Channel Manager and OTA mapping ​

Selling through OTAs (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, and dive-specific channels such as LiveaboardHub and ScubaDates) has two parts: a Channel Manager feed that publishes your inventory, and OTA mapping that matches your rooms and rates to the OTA's own catalogue. Both need the OTA / Channel Manager module.

Channel Manager ​

Where: Settings → Channel Manager (/export)

Each connected channel has its own card. Set its API key and ID, switch its status to Active, and choose the export options.

Each card also shows a copyable feed link and an Open button. Below that are the mapping tabs, which tie each of your items to the channel's own ID and key. Each channel shows only the tabs it actually uses — the entities its feed consumes — so one channel might expose Vessel, Tour, Port, and Dive Sites while another shows a different set; you are never asked to map something a channel ignores. A row counts as mapped once the ID and/or key that channel reads is filled in, and each row carries an active tick. For LiveaboardHub, route and cabin rows link straight out to that channel's edit pages.

To connect a channel and map your rooms and rates:

  1. Open the channel's card and enter the API key and ID it gave you. The key field identifies the channel and is read-only.
  2. Switch the card's status to Active and choose the export options above (specials, visible rooms, active beds, agent flag, supplements, cabin sort order).
  3. Copy the feed link and give it to the channel — or use Open to visit the channel's own site.
  4. Work through the mapping tabs. On each row you sell, tick active and enter the channel's ID and key for that vessel, tour, port, destination, room/cabin type, or dive site.
  5. Save. Availability and prices now sync for every mapped, active row.

OTA mapping ​

Where: Settings → OTA Mapping (/config/ota)

OTA mapping opens the connected channel manager's mapping tool for your active resort, embedded in the page. Use it to line up your rooms and rates with the OTA's, so availability and prices sync correctly.

Note: OTA mapping needs a resort asset to be active. Switch to the right resort with the asset switcher in the top bar first — see Navigation & basics.

Handling OTA update errors ​

When an OTA sync fails, Gurita flags it. An OTA errors indicator appears in the top bar, and the details live on the OTA updates screen under Booking (/booking/ota). Open it to see which update failed and why, fix the underlying mapping or availability, and retry. See Bookings for the day-to-day workflow.

Who can access this: Requires the Export permission (OTA mapping also needs System connections). Visible when the OTA / Channel Manager module is active.
