Geographical data
Geographical records are shared reference data used across itineraries, ports, transfers, and reporting. They rarely change once set up. All of them live under Master Data → Geographical.
Who can access this: requires the Settings (read) permission.
All geo records support per-language titles and descriptions; you must fill in every active language before you can save.
Regions (Destinations)
Master Data → Geographical → Region defines the broad areas you operate in (for example, "North Malé Atoll").
Region list and editor
Regions are the parent of your harbours and airports, group your itineraries, and feed the geographic breakdowns in reporting. A single region can span more than one country.

|---|---|
| Key | A short code for the region. |
| Country | One or more countries the region spans. |
| Description | Per-language title and text. |
Harbours (Ports)
Master Data → Geographical → Harbour defines seaports and jetties, each tied to a region and country.
Harbour list and editor
Harbours are the embarkation and disembarkation points for liveaboard itineraries, and the nearby airport link makes it easy to plan a guest's onward transfer from the airport to the boat.

|---|---|
| Key | A short code. |
| Country | The country the harbour is in. |
| Region | The region it belongs to. |

| Description | Per-language title and text. |
Airports
Master Data → Geographical → Airport defines airports.
Airport list and editor
Airports — identified by their code, such as MLE — are used when recording a guest's arrival and departure flights, and are what you link to a harbour for transfer planning.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Airport code | The airport's code (e.g. MLE). |
| Country | The country the airport is in. |
| Region | The region it belongs to. |

Airlines
Master Data → Geographical → Airlines defines airlines, used when recording guest flight details.
Airline list and editor
You pick the airline on a guest's flight details — on the booking and in the pre-arrival guest form — alongside the flight number, times, and airport.

|---|---|
| Code | The airline code (fixed once created). |
| Name | The airline name. |
| Country | The airline's home country. |

Countries
Master Data → Geographical → Countries holds the country records used for addresses and nationalities.
Country list and editor
Countries are used right across Gurita — in agency, customer, and employee addresses, as a guest's nationality, and as the parent of regions, harbours, airports, and airlines.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Code | The country code. |
| Description / Images / Text blocks | Per-language names and content. |
