Employees
Employees are your staff records. They are not system logins — they exist so you can assign people to work: dive guides on a trip, drivers and crew on a transfer, instructors, and so on. A work log can track their hours.
Open Master Data → Employees. The list shows status, assigned asset(s), first and last name, type, and e-mail. Filter by asset with the selector at the top right.
Employee list with asset filter
To add someone, click Create and complete the record. Employees open in a dialog with an Overview tab and, when the work log is enabled, a Work log tab:
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| First name / Last name | The employee's name (first name required). |
| Type | Their role, from your configured employee types (e.g. guide, driver, instructor). |
| Status | Active or Archived. |
| Resort / Vessel / Dive Center | Which asset(s) the employee belongs to. Used to filter them into the pickers where they can be assigned. |
| Position / E-mail / Phone / Address | Contact and role details. |
The Type list is drawn from your company's configured employee types, so it matches the roles you actually staff. The Resort, Vessel, and Dive Center selectors only appear for the asset types your company runs; leave them all blank to make the person available everywhere (shown as All in the list). The asset assignment is what filters an employee into the picker when you assign crew to a transfer or a trip.
The Work log tab (when enabled) records the employee's working time.
Who can access this: requires the Employees (read) permission. Visible when a Resort, Liveaboard, or Dive Center module is active.
