Dive Settings
Route: /dive/overview → Settings tab
The Dives workspace carries its own settings tab, so a dive manager can shape the module without leaving it. Save stores your changes; Reset discards unsaved edits.
The Dives settings tab with equipment, package, and information cards
Equipment products
The products offered as rental equipment — BCD, regulator, wetsuit, torch, tanks. These become the rows of every guest's Equipment matrix and the gear chips on trip manifests and in the dive log dialog. Pick a product from the selector and Add product; remove with ×. A guest with no rentals shows as Own gear.
Dive package products
The heart of dive billing: which products count as dive packages, and what one purchased unit is worth.
| Control | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Product | The sellable product (prepaid on the booking or bought on-site) |
| Dives per unit | How many dives one purchased unit covers — e.g. 10 for a Dive Package 10 |
| Unlimited | One purchase covers any number of dives of the mapped types |
| Counts toward dive types | The dive types this product's dives apply to — a multi-select of chips |
When you add a product that is already assigned to one or more dive types, those types come preselected. Map additional types when several types mean the same thing — for example Day Dive 1, Day Dive 2, and Day Dive 3 all covered by one boat-dive package. Everything mapped together shares a single pool of covered dives, and several products can feed the same pool.
Note: Products not listed here still count — any purchase of a product that belongs to a dive type covers one dive per unit. This card is only needed for multi-dive packages, unlimited deals, and cross-type mapping.
Information fields
Which customer-profile fields appear on the guest's Information sub-tab — certification level, organisation, insurance, last dive, and any other custom customer field. Click the chips to select; the click order is the display order. Fields come from your customer data groups (see CRM & Customers).
Dive level source
The single customer field that feeds the level badge shown next to guests everywhere in the workspace (e.g. AOWD, OWD, Divemaster). Each distinct value gets a consistent color.
Print templates
The module seeds two System print templates on first run: Dive Trip Manifest (the boat-trip printout) and Dive Guest Sheet (the per-guest printout). Adjust or replace them under Settings → Mail Templates; the module picks them up through the dive print-template configuration.
Who can access this: Requires the Dive log permission; changing settings additionally needs the Settings permission. Visible when the Dive Log module is active.
