Taking an order
Open a receipt to reach the order screen: a product browser on the left and the receipt on the right. On a phone, a toggle at the top switches between the two.

Browsing and adding products
- The browser opens on category cards. Pick a category, or type at least three letters in Search to find a product directly.
- Category chips run along the top; extra categories collapse under a More menu.
- Each product tile shows its picture, price, and a stock badge — green (N in stock), amber (N left), or coral (Sold out).
- Tap a product to add it to the receipt. Tapping again adds another; the tile flashes green to confirm.
- A small send icon on a tile marks a product that is prepared in the kitchen or bar (it will appear on the kitchen display).
Note: Sold-out products can't be added. Whether zero-price or out-of-stock items appear at all depends on your POS settings (Show products with zero price, Show products without stock, Show product pictures).
Adjusting a line
On the receipt, each line has a quantity stepper:
- + / − change the quantity.
- Pressing − on the last unit opens the delete prompt (a reason is required — see Bill operations).
The three-dot menu on each line offers more:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Edit | Open the line editor. |
| Remove discount | Clear a per-line discount. |
| Move to bill… | Move this line to another open receipt. |
| Delete | Remove the line (reason required). |
The line editor covers notes, sales rep, price override, and a per-line discount. To edit a line:
- Open the line's three-dot menu and choose Edit.
- Type a Comment for a modifier or request such as "no ice" — it prints on the receipt and shows on the kitchen ticket.
- If sales reps are enabled, pick a Sales Representative.
- With the override-price permission, change the Price (some roles see the price locked).
- Enter a Discount (%) up to your role's cap, then Save. The line shows the old price struck through.
