The guest invoice link
Every booking has a public invoice page a guest can open from a link — no login needed. It shows the charges, the deposit/payment schedule, on-site supplements, your bank details for a transfer, and, when online payment is enabled, a Pay button.

What the guest sees and does
Top to bottom, the public invoice shows:
- Their details and the stay — name, contact, address, travel dates, nights, number of guests, and the property (and trip, on a vessel).
- The itemised charges — amount, description, unit price, and line total, in the booking currency.
- The payment schedule — each deposit or instalment with its due date. Paid instalments carry a tick and are struck through, so the guest sees at a glance what is settled and what is next.
- Total Amount, Paid, and Amount due — the headline figures. A pending online payment, if any, is shown separately with a clock icon until it clears.
- Supplements payable on site — anything the guest settles at the property, listed apart from the amount due now.
- Bank details — when a transfer is offered, the account name, BIC, IBAN, reference, and a scannable payment (giro) code. These appear only while an amount is still open.
- Pay online — when online payment is switched on and there is an amount due, a button takes the guest to the payment provider. The page refreshes with the new Paid figure once they finish.
The guest can also print the page. Everything is read-only for them — they can pay, but never change a charge.

Note: The Invoice Portal under Settings is a separate, admin-only tool for retrieving your own invoices for Gurita — the billing for your company's use of the system itself. Guests never use it; they get the public invoice above. See Invoice Portal.
