The Booking table
Below the stat cards is a live table of your bookings — a trimmed-down version of the full Booking list, embedded so you don't have to leave the Dashboard. By default it shows Confirmed and Option / Hold bookings for your active property that aren't yet Resolved, either created recently or, depending on your company's settings, all open ones regardless of age. If you're logged in as an agency, it instead lists your own bookings across every property you work with, with a Customer column in place of Rooms and no Price column.
Who can access this: Requires the Bookings permission (or an agency account) and the Booking module.
Booking table on the Dashboard with the Days, Calendar, Occupancy and Show all buttons above it
Buttons above the table
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Days | Opens a menu of preset ranges — 7, 14, 30, 90, 180 or 360 days — that also drives the Confirmed, Option / Hold and Guest forms cards above. A checkmark in the menu marks your current choice (the button itself always just reads "Days"). Your choice is remembered next time you sign in. |
| Calendar (Resort properties) | Opens the booking calendar. |
| Trip Dates (Liveaboard properties) | Opens the trip calendar, in place of Calendar. |
| Occupancy (Resort properties) | Opens the Occupancy board. |
| Show all | Opens the full Booking list. |
Tip: The table also has its own search box and a filter icon (only upcoming, only past, only non-resolved, and more) — the same quick filters described in Search, filters, and saved views.
What the Days menu changes
The Days menu is one control, but different parts of the Dashboard read it differently — some don't read it at all:
| Card / panel | Follows Days? | What it's based on |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed | Yes | Bookings confirmed inside the window. |
| Option / Hold | Yes | Holds reserved inside the window. |
| Guest forms | Partly | Only the big number — Open and Overdue always look at right now. |
| Payments | No | Always "right now" — see Payments. |
| Booking table (this one) | Partly | Either bookings created/reserved inside the window, or every still-open one, depending on your company's setup — see above. |
| Todo panel | No | Not affected at all. |
| Notifications, Arrivals, Birthdays, Last Login | Capped | Effectively a fixed 7-day window, however wide a range you pick — see If your Dashboard looks different. |
Whatever you pick for the Booking table and stat cards is saved to your user profile, so it also applies next time you sign in — even from another device.
Columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| State | A coloured dot and the status name; for an Option / Hold, the expiry date shows in brackets next to it. |
| Travel period | Arrival and departure dates (Resort properties). |
| Transaction no. | A coloured button with the booking's reference number — a reservation number for a hold, a booking number once confirmed. Click it, or anywhere on the row, to open that booking. |
| Agency | The travel agent or partner who sent the booking, plus the sales contact, sales rep or booking manager where used. |
| Itineraries | The trip's route, dates and number of nights (Liveaboard properties). |
| Rooms | Room (or cabin) buttons; hover one to see who's staying in it. |
| Price | The total price. Red = money still owed, green = fully paid, purple = overpaid/credit. An Option / Hold row shows grey instead — Confirmed is the only status in this table that's actually been billed. If a payment is outstanding, a line underneath adds the Amount due and its Due date. |
| Created at | When the booking was created, and by whom. |
Note: Two differences from the full Booking list: the Transaction no. column here always just reads that (the full list relabels the same column to Offer no. / Reservation no. / Booking no. depending on the status tab you have open), and because Resolved bookings never appear in this table, you'll never see the padlock icon here that marks a resolved booking elsewhere.
Status colours
Because this table only ever shows Confirmed and Option / Hold bookings, you'll mainly see two dot colours here: green for Confirmed, orange for Option / Hold. These are the same colours used everywhere else in Gurita — the booking calendar, the Occupancy planner, the full Booking list — so they carry over once you've learned them here. The full Booking list shows the complete set of statuses and colours — Inquiry, Cancelled, Released, Waiting List and more.
Note: Once a Confirmed booking's stay is over and fully paid, staff (or Gurita automatically, overnight) mark it Resolved. Resolved bookings drop off this table on their own, keeping the Dashboard focused on what still needs attention.
