Signing in
The login screen
If you open Gurita in a browser and you're not signed in, you land on the login screen. It asks for two things:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| The email address your administrator set up for your account. | |
| Password | Your account password. |
Select Login to continue. Gurita keeps you signed in until you explicitly log out — there's no "remember me" box to tick.
Login screen with the E-Mail and Password fields
Note: Staff accounts are created by an administrator under Settings → Users — there's no public sign-up for staff logins. Self-service sign-up only exists for the separate agency-partner and guest-club portals. See Settings & administration.
Forgot your password
- On the login screen, select Forgot password.
- Enter your email address and select Forgot password again to send yourself a reset link. Gurita confirms with a short message and takes you back to the login screen.
- Open the email and follow the link. It opens a Set new password screen with your email and a security token already filled in.
- Type your new password twice and select Save new password.
Set new password screen with token, email and two password fields
Note: If an administrator gives you a temporary password, Gurita may show the Set new password screen automatically the moment you log in — you won't need to check your email for that first change.
Your session and the app version
At the bottom-left of the sidebar is a thin strip with a small arrow. Select it to expand a short info panel:
| Row | Shows |
|---|---|
| Session Expiry | How much longer your current login is valid for. Gurita renews it automatically in the background while you work, so this is informational rather than a countdown you need to race. |
| Version | The version of Gurita you're running. |
| Timezone | The timezone your dates and times are displayed in. |
| Client | The current time on your own computer. |
| Server | The current time on Gurita's server. |
Tip: If dates, times or a booking's behaviour ever look wrong, this panel — together with the small "Version: …" note in the corner of the login screen — is exactly what support will ask you for.
Note: If your computer's clock drifts too far from the server's, Gurita shows a warning pop-up asking you to refresh the page. This protects arrival/departure dates and payment timestamps from being recorded incorrectly.
