Modules: turning features on and off
Gurita is modular. A module (also called a feature) is an optional capability that an administrator switches on or off for the whole company under Settings → Active Modules. When a module is off, its menu entries simply disappear — so two companies can run very different-looking versions of the same app.

Here are the main modules and what each one unlocks:
| Module | Area | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| POS | Point of sale | The point-of-sale counter for bars, restaurants and shops — open bills, add items, take payment. |
| POS Tables | Point of sale | Table plans and locations for table service. |
| Ingredients | Point of sale | Recipes and food-cost reporting for the items you sell. |
| Stock | Point of sale | Track product stock levels. |
| Bank / Finance | Finance | Bank accounts, payments, cash flow and the cash box. |
| Invoice Portal | Finance | An admin-only page to retrieve your own invoices for Gurita — billing for your company's use of the system itself. Not guest-facing. |
| Transfers | Bookings | Airport and port transfer planning — vehicles, stops and route templates. |
| Booking Widgets | Bookings | Embeddable online booking forms for your own website. |
| OTA / Channel Manager | Bookings | Sync availability and bookings with online travel agencies and channels. |
| Forms | Bookings | Custom guest forms (check-in, liability waivers, dive certifications). |
| Dive Log | Diving | Dive logs, dive plans, dive sites, dive types and dive boats. |
| Equipment | Diving | Individually tracked equipment items and maintenance schedules; includes dive-boat fuel and maintenance (formerly Boat Maintenance). |
| CRM / Club | CRM | The customer database, guest forms hub and the online guest club. |
| Loyalty | CRM | A points and rewards program for repeat guests. |
| System Connections / Asset (Master) | System | Work across several connected properties and share payments between them. |
Note: Some plans include more modules than others. A module that is not part of your plan appears locked with an Upgrade option instead of a switch. Turning modules on and off is covered in Settings and administration.
