Connect Claude & ChatGPT
Claude and ChatGPT can sign in to your Gurita instance directly via OAuth. When a user connects, they authorize the AI client to read their Gurita data and receive a 180-day access token automatically.
For Claude users (Claude.ai or Claude desktop app)
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste your system's MCP address:
https://YOUR-DOMAIN/api/mcp(shown on the Gurita Settings → AI Assistant (MCP) page; click the copy button). - Claude opens a Gurita sign-in window. Log in with the user's Gurita email and password.
- Click Sign in & allow to give Claude permission.
- Done. The connection creates an OAuth token automatically (you'll see it in the Settings → AI Assistant (MCP) token list, named "OAuth: Claude").
Test it: ask Claude "List my accessible assets and show this month's income."
For ChatGPT users
ChatGPT (Deep Research and custom connectors) uses the same MCP endpoint and sign-in flow.
- In ChatGPT, add
https://YOUR-DOMAIN/api/mcpas a connector. - ChatGPT redirects to a Gurita sign-in page. Log in and click Sign in & allow.
- The token is created and stored on Gurita's side; ChatGPT's connector is now live.
ChatGPT runs two built-in tools — search (find bookings and customers) and fetch (get one record in full) — so you can ask it to research across your bookings and guests. The same permission and asset limits apply: ChatGPT only sees what the signed-in user is allowed to see.
Revoking a connection
On Settings → AI Assistant (MCP), click revoke next to the OAuth token to disconnect that client. The AI will stop working until a new connection is made.
Security note
OAuth tokens are tied to the user who signed in. That user's permissions determine what Claude or ChatGPT can read. If you want to limit the AI's access to bookings only (excluding customers or finance), you can switch off those tool groups on the admin page — that affects all connected clients, not just this one.
